Lynsey is originally from Belfast but moved to Newcastle upon Tyne to study dentistry. After qualifying in 2010 she worked in general practice in the North East, before relocating to Brighton in 2013. She joined Brighton Dental Clinic in 2015.
Lynsey is committed to continued learning and development of her clinical skills. She achieved her membership of the joint dental faculties with the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012. She continues to develop and advance her clinical skills and is now in the final year of the highly coveted postgraduate Restorative Dentistry Diploma at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute (University College of London).
Lynsey enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. She finds it particularly rewarding to help nervous patients through their treatment journey and enjoys treating children too. Her aim is to provide an excellent standard of dental health care to all of our patients;providing treatment in a caring and relaxed manner making it as comfortable for you as possible. Her philosophy is that prevention is better than cure.
Outside of work Lynsey enjoys socialising with friends and family, shopping, good food and travelling.
I would recommend Lynsey to anybody
I have been going to this practise since 1975 and was a patient of Alan Walder. It was therefore, with some trepidation, that I had my first consultation with Lynsey;even though Alan had said she would be great. Well of course I shouldn't have worried, Lynsey put me at ease straight away and spent time explaining the treatment I required, showing me the X-rays etc. I have now had the treatment carried out...completely painlessly naturally and would recommend Lynsey to anybody, I have always been a nervous patient but hopefully no more. The loverly Ulster lilt to Lynsey's voice and her continual re-assurance and checking almost makes a visit pleasurable!
