Dimitri is originally from Greece but was born and raised in Sweden where he studied and qualified from the University of Gothenburg in 1997. He came to the U.K shortly after qualifying and has since then worked in general practice in the UK, Sweden and Spain. Dimitri has always had a special interest in endodontics, in 2013 he completed a three year postgraduate program in the reputable University of Warwick, awarding him the MSc (Masters in Science) in Endodontology.
Dimitri joined Brighton Dental Clinic in 2014 and his practice here is limited to Endodontics. He uses the most modern instruments and materials to treat and prevent disease of the dental pulp and the supporting structures. The LED dental microscope is used for the majority of root canal treatments, allowing Dimitri to see and treat the finest structures inside the tooth, achieving higher success rates.
Outside of work Dimitri has a packed schedule with his family and his three children. In his spare time he enjoys playing tennis, football and he is a devoted chess player.
Friendly and helpful team
I had a very bad experience at another dentists and became so anxious that I didn't go for seven years. When I registered with this practice I explained my situation and have had a really positive experience. The team are really friendly and helpful. Mike and Victoria have been immensely patient, professional and kind. I am really happy with all of the work I have had done and feel that I have been able to make informed decisions about my treatment. I would recommend them highly, especially if you are anxious.
