Debbie started her dental career in 1977 as a dental nurse and qualified at the Eastman Dental Hospital in 1980. She first joined Brighton Dental Clinic in 1983 as a full time dental nurse. After taking time out to have her 3 children and to be a mum, Debbie returned to Brighton Dental Clinic as a full time receptionist.
Continued professional education and Debbie’s enthusiasm for her work has enabled her to bring an extensive set of skills to her role as Practice Manager, a position she has excelled at these past fourteen years.
Debbie leads a team of long term loyal staff, who all strive to give exemplary patient centred care and understand the importance of supreme customer service. Debbie is passionate about her role within the practice and the Denplan Excel Accreditation status that the practice works hard to achieve each year.
Outside of work her interests are reading, walking the family dogs, and History (WW1 & WW2). On her holidays Debbie has spent the last 12 years visiting and researching parts of Northern France and Germany connected to the war.
Friendly and helpful team
I had a very bad experience at another dentists and became so anxious that I didn't go for seven years. When I registered with this practice I explained my situation and have had a really positive experience. The team are really friendly and helpful. Mike and Victoria have been immensely patient, professional and kind. I am really happy with all of the work I have had done and feel that I have been able to make informed decisions about my treatment. I would recommend them highly, especially if you are anxious.
